Assignment Description: This in service was assigned to practice effectively presenting information to a group of hospital food service and healthcare workers.

 

What I learned: One of the main things I learned from this assignment was an idea of the topics that dietitians are responsible for presenting on. Prior to this assignment, I assumed most of the in services would be regarding specific dietary needs and orders. But I was able to see the vast topics that dietitians need to be aware of and how to properly present it to food service workers and hospital administrators.

 

Relevance to the profession: This assignment was intended to model in services that dietitians will hold for food service staff and other dietitians.
