Career Goals

Short-term Goals:

I aim to practice and improve my Spanish speaking skills by downloading and using a Spanish teaching program
I will complete my master’s degree in nutrition and master’s defense by the summer of 2016
I plan to grow my network of dietitians and dietetic technicians, registered by meeting with and seeking out mentors and colleagues

Long-term goals:

I aspire to work as a registered dietitian with underserved communities and provide nutrition education that aligns with their needs to support disease prevention
I plan to use my Urdu and Spanish speaking skills to work with these populations
I look forward to using my counseling and medical nutrition therapy skills to treat patients in hospital and outpatient settings
